The Maternity Experience
Central New Jersey maternity photographer, Sarah will capture your pregnancy perfectly.
Once you slip into a gorgeous maternity gown and are positioned in front of the camera, you will feel like a goddess!
Maternity sessions are available on-location or in studio and may include dad/partner/signifiant other, as well as any older siblings if desired.
Choose from formal portraits in beautiful couture gowns, bodysuits, silky draping fabric, fine art nude, or implied/partial nude for your studio session. For location sessions, I can suggest my favorite locations depending on season.

To guarantee availability I recommend booking your maternity session in the second trimester, when you are around 15-20 weeks which gives us plenty of time to plan your session, and have a buffer to reschedule, should something arise with you or baby. 1. Say Hello
Expecting mamas are typically scheduled to be photographed between 28-32 weeks gestation.
I recommend booking your maternity session in the second trimester, when you are around 15-20 weeks to guarantee our availability. This will give us plenty of time to plan your session, and have a buffer to reschedule, should something arise with you or baby. If you have missed this window, be sure to reach out asap – while the availability typically sells out early, upon occasion, a mama will need to reschedule, leaving us available for a last minute booking.
2. Schedule it
Together we will plan & style your future maternity photo session.
A questionnaire form will be sent after booking so that I can ensure we have everything needed to ensure the perfect session.
An album of maternity wardrobe will be available for you to choose which styles & colors you'd like to wear for your photos.
An album of background options will also be sent so that I can everything set up & ready prior to your pregnancy shoot!
3. Planning it
Your maternity session will take place at either my in-home photography studio or on location outdoors at an agreed upon time while your growing baby bump is on display to capture in print forever to love & enjoy.
I will help guide you through the various poses that best accentuates all the perfect qualities of you & your growing belly.
Depending on the length of the session chosen we will complete a certain number of outfit changes & background/location choices to ensure a well rounded gallery for you to choose your favorite images from.
4. Your Session
Within 10 days of our session you will receive a proofing gallery for you to browse & choose your favorite images from. This proof gallery will be unedited & will include all usable images we captured during your maternity session.
You will have 1 week to decide on your favorite images and once I receive those choices the editing process will begin.
Your final gallery will be sent within 2 weeks after which is when you will choose the heirloom products you'd like to own & proudly display wether in albums, wall art, or folio boxes.

5. Your Photographs

Posed Maternity: Maternity sessions can be scheduled for the mother-to-be only or include both parents & /or their other children. The studio is stocked with maternity wardrobe options which are available for use at your session in studio or on location at no additional cost.
Up to a 90 minute session: $975
(includes 20 digital images)
Up to 1 hour session: $875
(includes 15 digital images)
Up to a 30 minute session $675
(Includes 10 digital images)
Additional images: $50
Maternity Deposit: A $175 non refundable retainer is due at booking to reserve your date.

I had my daughter's 1st Birthday cake smash photo shoot done with Sarah. I was very happy with how the photos came out. I had a certain theme that I was set on using and Sarah was able to review backdrops that she had (there were many) and decide on two. My daughter has a lot of separation anxiety and was crying at first. Sarah was very patient and was able to turn the shoot around so we were able to get some beautiful images! I would recommend!
