The Maternity Experience

These are the gowns I have available for studio & outdoor sessions. Most are one size fit most, but they may not be stretchy enough for plus sized women. Nude or black undergarments (strapless bra) will be recommended to have for most.

The Newborn Experience

I provide everything from the backgrounds, props, & outfits unless wanting to include something personal & unique to your family's story. Feel free to browse the newborn galleries for inspiration for your newborns' photo session. Parents & older siblings should dress in neutral tones (no logos).
The Milestone Experience
experience depends on the chosen session
I will set it all up for you, outfits, backgrounds, props according to our planning session. Just bring the baby, cake, & a towel (for smash & splash session). Always brings a favorite toy, snack, & bottle/sippy cup. if your planning outfits of your own, please confirm with me that they match our sets/style.
The Family Experience

Depending on whether your session is in the studio or at an outdoor location, the setting will help guide what everyone wears. I usually recommend starting with mom’s outfit and building the rest of the looks from there.
For a flower garden session, think flowy dresses, light fabrics, and soft colors like cream, sage, blush, or dusty blue. For a studio session, neutral tones like beige, denim, or soft black with simple, timeless pieces photograph beautifully. If you prefer a more colorful studio look, choose two or three coordinating colors and keep the tones soft so everything still feels cohesive.

last notes
If you session include younger kids, we’ll likely be doing a lot of playing, cuddling, and moving around (sitting, standing, holding, and tickling). Choose outfits you all feel comfortable in. If they’re old enough, let them help choose between a few outfit options so they feel excited about photo day.
Recap
- Choose a color palette of 2–4 coordinating colors max and build everyone’s outfits around those tones (prints are welcome).
- Add visual interest with texture like eyelet, stitching, ruffles, knits, or thick denim.
- Avoid loud logos or graphics.
- Plan shoes that match the location and outfit (unless barefoot fits the vibe) and keep everyone comfortable.
